First Steps
Hosting a Play Day is easy and fun, and is a great way to keep kids excited about tennis. USTA Colorado has compiled a number of resources to help you host a successful Play Day.
2016 USTA Colorado Incentive
For 2016, USTA Colorado is offering some exciting incentives for Play Day organizers. If you have questions, please contact playday@coloradotennis.com.
Details
The first 10 organizers who host and register 5 or more Play Days – with 2 of those Play Days using the 3v3 format – will receive a $150 dollar Visa gift card.
- Minimum of 8 participants per 3v3 Play Day
- Age-appropriate equipment must be used (ROGY)
- All events must be registered on YouthTennis.com in advance with “3v3 format” listed under “Title” and “Event” Description for those specific play days
- Experienced tennis specialist available at no cost to assist with first 3v3 Play Day
- Provide all participants with USTA Colorado information on future play opportunities
- Opportunity to cross promote events with other providers
Congratulations to Leanne Palmisano at Crestmoor Community Association for winning the iPad Air! Her efforts to make tennis accessible to more kids by offering numerous play opportunities for kids in the Denver area and promoting them online are significant to growing and developing the game in Colorado.
